Condemnation of Liars and Thieves

Woa be unto you liars and thieves. I am coming. Do you think that you are not seen? I have watched your theft of My lands and My blessings to My children for years. You laugh at My children's warnings of retribution and condemnation. You say that I will do nothing as you take My name out of the government and schools of this nation. You boast in the power of your army and the might of your weapons. You brag that none on this planet can match you in your superior technologies and strength of arms. I have sent storms of disaster to show that you are no match for the power of My might and you do not heed the warnings. I send disease to strike you and still you continue your dispicable acts. The time is coming that you will no longer be able to deny that I was the author of your downfall. For I am telling you that you will know that it is coming and soon. I will bring upon you a fall such as has not been seen since the fall of Rome. Your arrogance and pride is even greater than that of the Israelites of old. You think that you can stop even the plagues that I send to warn you of your sins against Me. Do you think that I would turn a blind eye to your sexual perversions and the cruelties you visited upon My helpless ones? Now you even steal openly from each other and call it business. You drag your fellow man into court and falsely accuse him of wrong doings so that you can take what you have not earned. Your forefathers used My Word as a guide to help in deciding how to make a decision in court but you believe that you have higher wisdom than Mine.
Therefore, this is what I say, your land will be split in warfare. You will soon come to know the truth of bondage and slavery. Your land will be a godless land, where I will no longer walk as before. Your children and your children's children will grow up knowing the burden of true labor under the task masters of those who know no god. I am going to hand you over to your enemies and they will make of you a mockery of the eagle who once flew so proudly before. You will never fly again. This is what I tell you and I am the Alpha and the Omega.

Is the Race for Office just another Reality Show?

I am dismayed by the continual trashing that each of the Republican candidates heap upon each other during their run for the Oval Office. Whatever happened to running a clean campaign based upon what each candidate hoped to achieve while in office. The sad truth is, clean campaigns are not interesting and do not gain attention of 'We The People' any longer.
Today's tv is rife with what we refer to as reality tv. This is no more than gossip and mudslinging tv where everyone is out to get each other from the beginning. I used to watch the show called Survivor and I was wrong to do so. It was a show where a group of individuals were put on a secluded wilderness spot without much in the way of equipment and necessities, and then told to survive. Only they were each competing for money. Whoever was the lone survivor would get $1million dollars. America loved it. It was an inspiring show and nothing more than a late night soap opera of who was cheating with who and who was going to stab their 'friends' in the back so that they could win. After all, winning is everything and 'it was only a game' were the 'reasons' that the individuals always touted as forcing them to give in to lying and cheating to win. I mean it was $1 million dollars. Now wait, whatever happened to the Golden Rule, you know 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you' not the current one that states 'he who has the gold makes the rules' or 'do unto others before they do unto you.' What you must ask yourself is what is my soul worth? Is it worth more than $1 million dollars? To many of the contestants on Survivor the answer was NO.
Now we turn to the candidates running for office, are they selling their soul for a chance to be King for 4 years. Yup, it has a nice ring to it...KING. I am President of the United States of America. Wow, that used to mean something. Today, that position does not mean as much. We have allowed our own greed and vice to become involved in taking care of our people so much so that acquiring this position does not mean what it used to. Our Creator gave each man the right to the pursuit of his happiness and freedom; to choose whom he will serve as a Lord and Master. Yet, we the people have given our freedoms to choose away in order to 'ensure' our own lazy greed and vices. So all the men running for this office have to do is 'promise' to fulfill those same wants and desires and we elect them our King for 4 years. Then when that same man fails to fulfill all our expectations (deliver the exaggerated promises he made) we are angry and upset. Is there any wonder that each candidate slings mud and opens all the closet doors of the other candidates while trying to hide his own failings? His only objective, the same as the contestants on Survivor, is to win! It does not matter who gets hurt. It does not matter if what is said is totally true or not. Winning is everything. 
But our Lord in heaven does not look at these outward things. He looks to our hearts. He wants us to love and respect Him, and with that comes love and respect for others. Jesus said to the scribes and pharasees that the Greatest Rule of all was to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul. But did not stop at that. He then continued with the second was to 'love your neighbor as yourself'. How then are these same men who tell half truths and lies about each other, and all for the desire of an elected office, glorifying our Lord? I say they are not and that we are just as wrong for encouraging them to act this way. Huh? Now that hits home. Yet it is truth. These same individuals employ marketing groups to determine what 'we the people' desire and want most in each electoral district and then that candidate overwhelms us with promises of exceeding those wants and desirs. We watch reality tv and read smut magazines that deliver all the latest gossip on celebrates and heros, hoping to get a glimps of the 'good life' or watch as someone else experiences the same pains as we are so we feel less of a failure. The News is innundated with such stories now instead of truth and things of hope. So how can we expect less from our men running for office?
Until we have a shift of values and morales that will return us to days of truly caring for others and placing other's welfare before our own we will not truly experience a change in our political representatives. They are a product of our own making. I will leave you once again with this, my Grandfather drilled into me this simple but true phrase, "Son, the government and other men can take most everything else away from you, but they cannot take your integrity/honesty. YOU have to give that away." Choose today whom you will serve, God or money/power/position/etc., as for me I choose my heavenly Father.

Do you believe in Satan?

That is a simple question but not everyone actually will admit to believing in Satan. We will do something wrong and then claim 'the devil made me do it.' all the while knowing that it was our own carnal nature that was to blame....or was  it?
Think back to what we call the original fall of man. When Eve took and ate the apple and then she gave it to Adam. We all blame Eve for her actions and rightly so for we each have a choice. Yet who was there with her, deceiving her during this moment of weakness? It was the father of lies. It was his twisting of the words of our Father that brought about Eve's eventual capitulation to sin, and God cursed him for it. So fast forward in time and then we see Jesus who is grown. His ministry is about to begin yet he must first experience the fires of Satan's temptations and lies just as Eve and Adam experienced so many years before. Truly, men had been failing the fires of Satan's temptations up to that time. Yet Jesus would overcome all temptations and twisted words that Satan could throw at him.
Now fast forward again, we today face a world who does not truly believe in 'the devil' or hell. A large part of our own nation no longer believes in God. Yet, those who do are challenged with believing in God but some do not want to also believe that there is another force at work as well. I must submit to you that if you believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, then you MUST also accept that there is a hell and Satan is real. Our Father warns us over and over in His inspired Word that Satan is as a roaring lion roaming around looking for those whom he can devour. He wants to ensure that each and every Christian is LOST. That we all accept the lie that there is no Satan and no Hell. That no matter what we do in this life our Father will always love us and we can never be lost once we are saved. If that were true, then why would Jesus need to tell us a story of the Prodigal Son? Why would Peter warn his fellow christians in 2 Peter 3:17 to be on guard so that they would not be carried away by the errors of the wicked? In Revelations John is given prophesy about the seven churchs and God's intent to leave them. No, we can lose our souls even though we were once saved by listening to Satan's siren calls. He is not called the great deceiver and father of lies for nothing. Yet, today we want our Pastors, Ministers, Preachers, teachers, and any other man of God to tell us how wonderful heaven is and will be but we do NOT want to hear about that other place.
Please listen, our Father is a Father of mercy and grace,YES. He loves us dearly. Anyone who claims otherwise has only to look toward the cross and understand the true measure of sacrifice that was given to begin to measure that love. Yet our Father is also a God of Justice and Vengence. He continually warned the Israelites of their coming retribution for their prostitution to other gods. Yet they refused to listen. Will we do likewise? Have we listened so long to Satan that all we want to hear is words of comfort and soothing lullabies? Truly, I believe that soon our time of warning will have past as Israel's did and we will awaken to the dawn of our own distruction. Too long have we pushed aside those who begged and pleaded for us to listen to words of hell fire and damnation only to be attuned to the sweetness of everything is okay.
I will leave you with this thought, if you believe in God, how can you deny that there is also a Satan? God threw down Satan and has promised a time of final retribution for him and all who follow him, willingly or not....each of us must look inside ourselves and ensure that we have continually cleansed the blackness that he leaves when he comes calling. His attacks are insidious and we do not always recognize them but that is why our Father gave us the Spirit.

Another Call for Reformation

I once again plead with my fellow countrymen and believers to listen. During prayer I asked for our Father to give me another verse to consider and was given Jeremiah the 22^nd chapter. At first it was just toward the end of the chapter and the coming destruction of Judah. Yet with prayer, the Spirit guided me to read the whole of the Chapter to see the Lord’s message and the causes that were leading Judah toward destruction. Please brothers and sisters turn to this book and read it. We need to awaken to the coming destruction that will be visited upon America if we do not author change within our country.

God tells Judah to stop oppressing and robbing His children; to deal justly with all even a stranger and temporary resident, the orphans and widows, nor shed innocent blood. Yet we have been robbing each other continually for years. We try to cheat each other in business just as humans have done throughout the years. We have handed off responsibility for the widows and orphans to our Government (and continually complain about taxes to pay for it) when our Father directed each of us to care for them. Yet honestly how many of us put our own elderly kinfolk into “old folk’s homes” because we cannot be bothered to care for them? Yet, my first memories as a child were seeing my Great Great Grandparents at their children’s homes being taken care of. If we care so little for our own family that we cannot be bothered to care for them, then what testimony is that to our moral foundation that we are building for tomorrow. Consider this, your children are watching and you will eventually receive the same treatment, for they will emulate what you have shown them.

As heinous as these sins are they are nothing to our prostrating ourselves to the gods of money and things. We as a nation have bought into the psychological brainwashing that “He who has the most gold is King” or “He who has the most and newest toys wins” or any number of other tools used to psychologically convince you that you have to have everything you WANT and you NEED it now. We have allowed ourselves to be enslaved through debt to corporations who convinced us that we were not complete without their product immediately. Those same corporate leaders are consumed with earning more money so that they can continue to function. The leaders themselves have enslaved themselves to a lifestyle of wealth and luxury that scares them to even consider the possibility of losing it. Money has become our master as sure as the sun is in the sky. Yet God did not call us to prosperity for ourselves. He directed that we help others in need. I too have been challenged with this and have asked for His forgiveness. Yet Jesus tells us that we cannot serve two masters. Which will you choose to serve?

Jeremiah 22:17, but your eyes and your heart are only for your covetousness and dishonest gain, for shedding innocent blood, for oppression and doing violence. The Lord was saying this in reference to the King of Judah, yet now it applies to all the leaders and elected officials who are lying and cheating in office. All the powerful leaders in this Country give heed and listen to what the Lord is saying. Anyone who has the ability to help another of God’s children and determines that they will not is pronouncing judgment upon themselves. God continues in verses 21-22 telling them that He had spoken to them when they were prosperous, trying to get them to heed and repent. They would not. Then our Lord promises a sure judgment of adversity and dismay for all those He judges wicked.

Can anyone tell me that we have not heaped the wind of adversity upon ourselves as the Judeans did? I am not a prince or statesman, yet I am not poor. I will not be excluded from the judgment that is coming as the day of God’s wrath draws near. I have no timeline and only our Father knows when the day of Justice will arrive. Yet our God promised to bring upon us justice…and God has placed upon my heart that our justice is coming just as surely and swiftly. Only by a reformation movement such as occurred in Nineveh can we avert the coming hand of retribution.

Yet we are not Judah and this will not be a war of nations. It will be a war within our own borders. Our America will be ravaged as once before yet on a larger scale. God is allowing even now the sun of that dark day to draw near. He will not intercede this time for the good of His people as before. He will allow our own cruelties and lust for blood to decimate and destroy our land. For He has also come to us in our times of prosperity and called for our repentance, and we ignored Him and called His prophets insane.  

I am excited about our new topic of study at church. We will be looking at Luke and Acts together. You see both books were authored by the same individual and it has been suggested that he meant for these books to take the New Christian from the birth of our Savior through His crucifiction to His triumphant resurrection (Luke) and then the continued works of our Lord through His chosen in spreading His church (Acts) after His assention. As exciting as that sounds to me, I am even more excited about the further look into the working of the Holy Spirit throughout this whole process. You see the Spirit was there helping our Lord as He began His ministery and march toward the cross. Jesus was just a man after all. But it was by the Spirit that He was able to complete all the wonders and miraculous signs. Then the Spirit was passed to His disciples and Apostles who continued these signs and wonders. My son challenged me with my own words not too long ago..."we have the Word of God, we do not need miracles." That was the way I was raised. Father forgive me for my blindness and for not seeing the truth. We do need miracles today. Every day, children die of incurable diseases, yet a miracle of our Lord could change that. Every day, we have a chance to make a difference in the lives of others. Let me tell you a story and then you decide if it was a God intervention (miracle) or not...
  A group of women are broken down on the side of the road. It is late Christmas Evening. It is a dark interstate highway with lots of cars passing by. These poor ladies have been there for 35-45 minutes, jumping up and down, waving their arms and legs, waving light colored clothes anything to draw attention. Yet still no one will stop. It is Christmas Evening and everyone is in a hurry to get home to family and friends. The temperature is cold and with the wind the chill factor is approximately 35 degrees. They keep trying to get their car to start but without success. Suddenly, more cars are coming, hope, faint but still there, so they try again to get help. This time 2 cars stop. HELP! At last. But as the drivers come to see about them, the news is not good. The car will need to be towed. One driver immediately leaves. What will the women do now? How will they get home? How will they arrive in time for Christmas? Yet, one driver stays. The driver asks if they know someone who can come get them? No. Do they know a mechanic? No. Where do they live? 100 miles North. The driver looks at the car load of women and the old broken down car. The tow will be expensive...the driver asks if the women have the money to cover the tow? No. The driver gets them towed home and leaves.
Now the question is this, was the driver sent by our Father to take care of those women at that time? I say yes. I say that it was perhaps a miracle for and to them. We do not always see things that way however I believe that our Father still uses the Spirit to move us to intercede in others lives causing miracles to happen.
Yes, Mickey, the gift of Quest was a Miracle for me and I will be living Free for years to come thanks to you answering Fathers call to help me.

New Year Resolutions

It is another Year and each of us usually makes New Year Resolutions. We tell ourselves that we will cut back on sweets or get into shape or stop some annoying behavior. We begin each year with these same promises to ourselves and sometimes even make them with others. I would caution you about this as our Father in heaven takes those 'promises' as Vows. If you make a resolution that you know that you cannot keep then perhaps you need to start with a lower expectation. In business that is goal setting. You set a goal that is attainable and work toward it. Then you move on to the next step. With each goal achieved, you will move toward attainment of your primary target and success. On the other hand, most people fail because they set unattainable goals for themselves at the beginning and then give up in frustration before they even have a chance to succeed. Where am I going with this? Truthfully, I was not planning to address this at all, but felt the need to communicate a short message of hope and help. First, as you are deciding what areas to address in this new year that our Lord has given you, pray for His direction with fasting and meditation on what areas in your life you need to improve your service. Then sit quietly and listen for the Spirit to guide your thoughts and help you plan out how best to achieve the goals that our Father has placed upon your heart to improve. In this way, you will be able to meet success in what you do for it will not be your strength that gets you to your goal but our Father's. He will not place more upon you than you are capable of achieving, and you will find that He will actually start stretching you beyond what you THINK you are capable of achieving. You should also keep a journal of your initial goal setting and the course that you set to attain success. Then as the year progresses and you move along your pathway, and frustrations set in along with temptations to quit you can refer back to the journal to see how God has moved you along toward your goal and has been faithful toward you giving you courage and strength to continue toward success. Above all else, remember this; God will never fail us nor abandon us, we fail and quit Him. This year perhaps our FIRST resolution should be to NEVER abandon Him for all of this year. What a year each of us would have if we would hold to that resolution.
